Introducing Fantasy Football Foundry - Analytics for Serious Managers
Fantasy Football Foundry is a free analytics platform built for managers who want more than consensus rankings. VORP, consistency models, draft simulation, trade analysis, and Sleeper integration — all in one place.
Every manager in your league is looking at the same rankings.
They're using the same FantasyPros consensus, the same ESPN projections, the same gut feeling about which running back bounces back after a slow start. And when draft day comes, the average pick order looks almost identical from league to league, week after week.
That's not an edge. That's just noise at scale.
We built Fantasy Football Foundry for the managers who want more than a consensus read. Not more data for the sake of data. We want more useful data. The kind that actually changes your decisions. Today we're walking through what Foundry is, what's live right now, and where we're taking it.
What Foundry Is
Foundry is a fantasy football analytics platform. The goal is simple: take the analytical frameworks that serious analysts use: VORP, replacement value, consistency modeling, strength of schedule; and make them accessible, integrated, and actually usable inside a real draft workflow.
Most tools do one thing. A rankings aggregator. A trade calculator. A mock draft simulator. You end up with six browser tabs open on draft night and no coherent way to connect the signals. We are building Foundry as a single workspace where those signals converge. Rankings, research, simulation, and trade analysis; all built to talk to each other.
Matt has worked in data science for nearly 10 years now (and yeah he has bad posture.) This is a project that has been in the works for several years. It's free. We intend for it to stay free for the first year. It will launch as ad-supported, which means your edge costs you nothing. As we tighten our models and expand our content profile, we plan to add subscription tiers for the 2027 season.
What's Live Right Now
Draft Alchemy - Our NFL Mock Draft Simulator
While we know there are many other options out there, we think we've built the best NFL Mock Draft Simulator available. For managers who want to understand NFL draft capital as part of their dynasty research, or just have fun playing couch GM (looking at you, Josh Allen!) Draft Alchemy is a full NFL mock draft simulator built around team needs, prospect context, and draft value modeling.
It includes features we have not seen anywhere else, including a tool that highlights other teams with similar needs, which can inform trade-ups and other schemes.
Run full 7-round simulations, pick for any team, and understand how rookie class depth at each position affects your dynasty rankings before the NFL Draft happens.
With the 2026 NFL Draft less than three weeks away, now is the time to build your prospect context.

Foundry Trade Desk
Our (fully Sleeper integrated) trade tool pulls in your leagues settings and scoring and automatically adjusts player values based on that context.
It also includes additional features we're proud of:
- The "Belief State" feature, which rates the current state of each member involved in the potential trade. If your trade partner is deliriously optimistic (whose trade partner isn't?,) you're able to modify that state. Why is this important? Because you're not trading with a robot. If Joe Schmoe thinks he's 1 big piece from a championship, he's not sending you his WR1!
- Trade Partner's Favorite NFL Team: Similarly, despite it all, Joe Schmoe loves the Pittsburgh Steelers! He thinks Aaron Rodgers is worth a first! This feature allows extra weight to be thrown at players on a specific team.
- Draft strength weight: not every draft is created equal. Weigh them as you will.
These aren't just nice-to-haves. A trade calculator is worthless unless the other person agrees with you on the value! This helps bridge that gap.

Expert Rankings
Rankings, yes. We all live and die by the rankings. The FFF rankings engine covers 300+ players across redraft, dynasty, and rookie formats: in PPR, Half PPR, and Standard scoring.
These aren't scraped consensus figures. Foundry is launching with expert consensus rankings balanced with our in-house prediction models.

Analytics Hub - The Research Layer
We're still building parts of our Analytics Hub, but this is where Foundry goes beyond a rankings tool. We're going quant mode on your ass. We'll be rolling out core models and we'll have a rotating cast of experimental models for all you nerds who like to have fun.
VORP Rankings: Replacement-aware value boards for every position. Not just "who scores the most points" but "who scores the most points above the player you could get for free." That gap is where draft value actually lives.
Consistency Model: Boom/bust structure, floor integrity, and weekly stability scores for draft construction. Knowing a player's average output is useful. Knowing how often they hit their ceiling versus crater below their floor is what separates a good roster from a resilient one.
Outcome Distributions: Probabilistic ceiling and floor visualizations for every tier-1 asset, built from situational context and depth data. The 90% confidence interval for a player's weekly output is a more honest picture than a single projected number.
Equity Harvest (xFP): Expected fantasy points modeled against market price. When a player's projected output equity is meaningfully higher than what the market is charging in ADP, that's a draft inefficiency. Equity Harvest surfaces those gaps in real time.
QB Lab: EPA, CPOE, air yards, and time-to-throw diagnostics for every starting quarterback. Process metrics, not just box scores. Useful for both fantasy QB evaluation and for understanding which passing offenses are structurally set up to produce at receiver and tight end.
Strength of Schedule: Week-by-week positional matchup difficulty, with a specific focus on the weeks that matter: the fantasy playoff window (weeks 15–17). Drafting for your playoff schedule is a real edge most managers leave on the table.
Decision Boards: Four live research surfaces that update continuously: Breakout Probability, Injury Pressure, Market Delta, and Game Script Outlook. When you need a fast read on who's trending before a waiver deadline, these are the boards you open.
Age Curve Analysis: Will Christian McCaffrey, Saquon Barkley, and Derrick Henry finally tail off this year? We can't say for sure, but we can give you the odds!
In addition to our standard models, we have several more experimental models in the works!
You'll soon see analytical features right here on the blog, sponsored by the Foundry Analytics Hub, including our Draft Truth Series, which we're launching this week. Our goal is to bridge expert analysis and analytics.

Sleeper Integration
If your league runs on Sleeper, Foundry connects directly to your roster. That means the analytics aren't generic, they're filtered through your actual team context. We're not saying that this kills the need for spreadsheets, but it will certainly give your spreadsheets some time off.
Trade analysis accounts for your specific roster construction. Waiver recommendations factor in who you already own. The goal is personalized intelligence, not population-level averages. Everything we build will add to and ease your decision making process.
Who This Is For
Foundry is built for managers who think about fantasy football as a system, not a hobby.
Managers who want to understand why a player has value, not just that they're ranked 14th. Who want to know the consistency structure of a player before they draft them as a flex. Who run mock drafts seriously and track what broke their strategy.
If you've ever finished a draft and known the board didn't reflect your actual analysis, Foundry is where that gap gets closed.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is Fantasy Football Foundry? Fantasy Football Foundry is a free fantasy football analytics platform that combines VORP rankings, consistency modeling, strength of schedule analysis, draft simulation, trade analysis, and Sleeper integration into one workspace for serious fantasy managers.
Is Fantasy Football Foundry free? Yes. Foundry is free to use and ad-supported. Sleeper integration requires connecting your Sleeper account to enable personalized analytics.
What is VORP in fantasy football? VORP stands for Value Over Replacement Player. It measures how many more fantasy points a player is projected to score compared to the best freely available player at the same position — the one you could pick up off waivers. VORP is the foundation of Foundry's rankings methodology because it measures relative scarcity, not just raw output.
Does Fantasy Football Foundry work with Sleeper? Yes. Foundry integrates directly with Sleeper leagues. Connect your account to get roster-specific analytics, personalized trade evaluation, and waiver recommendations built around your actual team context.
What makes Foundry different from FantasyPros or ESPN? FantasyPros aggregates expert consensus. ESPN runs projections. Foundry provides the analytical layer underneath (VORP, consistency modeling, outcome distributions, equity analysis,) that tells you why a player has value and how reliably they deliver it. The tools are designed to work together inside a single workflow rather than living in separate tabs.
What is Draft Alchemy? Draft Alchemy is Foundry's NFL mock draft simulator. It simulates full 7-round NFL drafts with team needs modeling and prospect context. It's built for dynasty managers who want to understand rookie class depth before the NFL Draft and model how draft capital flows affect their long-term rankings.
